Washington State women defeat Gonzaga 57-51

Tia Presley had 15 points and eight rebounds to lead Washington State to a 57-51 win over Gonzaga on Saturday.

Mariah Cooks scored a career-high 12 points for the Cougars (4-7), who rallied from a 14-point first-half deficit. Lia Galdeira had 11 points and eight rebounds for Washington State.

The Cougars outscored Gonzaga 31-19 in the second half to win in the series for the first time in four games. It was also Washington State's first road win of the season.

Haiden Palmer had 13 points and Sunny Greinacher grabbed 10 rebounds for Gonzaga (10-4).
